Restaurant was perfect for a breakfast. My double room was exceptional with a personal safe, a kettle and central heating. This accommodation had a remote setting in the garden area. Also, St Mary's Church was just 1 km away.

A Wedding Bliss Experience
The staff's dedication made everything seamless. The fillet of beef at dinner was divine. Make sure to explore the gorgeous grounds for fine photos. Perfect choice for any celebration!

The hotel was very peaceful and simply stunning in general, had patient staff despite my hardest efforts. The location of the venue was remote, close to the gardens for a hard reset from life, and so many attractions. Furthermore, beautiful in a lovely conservatory...

Despite some noise from guests and a room on the 2nd floor, the bar staff's friendliness made for a good stay amidst otherwise small issues. Breakfast, however, was disappointing compared to past visits.

The location, buildings and the gardens. Beautiful.
On this particular visit the room was fairly confined for a double size room. Prefer the Courtyard rooms.

Staying at The Elvetham Hotel was a delight! The staff's attentiveness. Our family room was spacious, and the views of the beautifully manicured grounds were fine. We enjoyed a lovely stroll through the gardens, soaking in the rich history of the estate.
Only stayed for one night.

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. It is a beautiful building in relaxing and natural surroundings that are very well maintained. You feel like you are completely away from it all yet it has the advantage of being very close to towns and motorway access.
The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been if it had a swimming pool.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It's history alone make it a wonderful place to stay. Grounds are unbelievably beautiful and lovely to just stroll in. A very romantic experience. I really can't fault anything with the Elvetham.

The historic estate is genuinely amazing, showcasing a tree planted by Queen Elizabeth I. The spacious double room was a pleasant surprise, and the breakfast was good with an excellent variety of cold dishes. Navigating the expansive grounds can be challenging, especially if you have mobility issues, as I faced a long trek with many stairs to my room. The heat in the room was uncomfortable due to inadequate ventilation, and there could have been better communication regarding accessible routes.

The building, inside and out, and location were stunning, and we enjoyed the visible standards of care taken of the hotel and the grounds.
Our experience at the Elvetham got off to a poor start, as the receptionist who checked us in was unwelcoming and indifferent, and allocated a housemaid's room amongst the chimney pots... which is why I haven't filled in the survey for staff above - which was a shame, as everyone else was delightful. However when I phoned down regarding a room change I happily got someone else, who gave us a lovely room in the courtyard annexe, and everything else made for a very happy stay; however if that hadn't happened we would have been looking elsewhere for accommodation, and I would not have returned or recommended same.
